Hornbeams Nursery and Foundation Unit

Hornbeams Nursery and Foundation Stage Unit is a 24 place nursery, situated in the picturesque hamlet of Hemington, Radstock. The nursery is part of our beautiful Victorian Village school, and enjoys the use of wonderful grounds and a tranquil rural setting. Hornbeams Nursery is open 38 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, 9.00am-3.00pm. Hornbeams Nursery is registered to take children from the age of 2 years.

Our Hornbeams Nursery and Foundation Stage Unit is staffed by an Early Years Teacher and experienced level 3 Early Years Practitioners. As a smaller than average group we have a high adult to child ratio, which means we are able to offer a more individual and tailored experience for your child.

Our Foundation Stage Unit is attended by children from the nursery and the Reception class. All children have the opportunity to free play and take part in planned Early Years Foundation Stage curricular activities. These activities support children's early learning and development, providing children with the best start before joining key stage 1.
